Recorded in the summer of 1999 at Maple Avenue Studios, Berwyn, IL.

Many of these songs were written for his wife Mary in the early 60s for her ballet classes. Joe wrote songs for both of his daughter-in-laws which were debuted at both of their weddings. He also wrote songs for three of his grandchildren. One of his first songs, "Yvette's Lullaby" was written for his wife's best friend's first child. He did write a song for his last grandchild but he was never happy with it and it was never recorded. However, he rededicated her favorite song "Butterflies" to her.
